wow, it’s been such a long time since i’ve posted on this blog. im unsure if i will start updating again, but we’ll see about that.
so, my school is wonderful, it starts earlier than everyone else, and so school, hear i come.
i’ve been watching a lot of Criminal Minds lately, and what a good show it is. i love the psychological factor in that show and the intense adrenaline rushing factor, it really makes the show great. my favourite characters in that show would have to be emily prentiss (Paget Brewster) and JJ (AJ Cook). if you guys have time, you should really check out that show and watch it. it has some blood and gore in it, but less than CSI. i find that CSI is too intense and disturbing for me, so i prefer Criminal Minds; and i like how the figure the psychological state of mind.
i also have gone on vacation recently to orlando. my family and i went to universal’s islands of adventure. sadly, my family isnt very into roller coaster rides, and so we only ended up going to three rides. the spiderman ride was a pretty good ride, not too intense; good for kids ages 8+. we also went on the Jurassic Park water ride, river something. it was definitely a good ride. my favourite rides are the water rides. i forced my family on and got them all wet! (: i would definitely recommend that ride for ages 10+. my family also went on the harry potter ride, the one around hogwarts. my family knows nothing about harry potter since we dont support wizardry and that stuff, so we didnt really understand what was happening. since that ride is the attraction of that park, we were expecting a long line up, but we went right after lunch, and so the line wasnt very long. it was very good since it was continuously moving and we didnt have to just stand there doing nothing. my dad got really motion sick on that ride, and he doesnt normally get motion sickness. my brother and i had a headache after the ride as well. i saw a lot of younger children coming out of that ride, so i cannot say the age that would be good, but there’s a lot of shaking and movement. and it’s pretty dark throughout the whole ride, unless you are at the parts where there are screens. My dad and i also lined up for another water ride. i cant remember what it was called, but it was the cartoon one near Jurassic Park. we lined up and the line barely moved at all. we waited for a good 30 minutes before an announcement came on and said that there was a technical difficulty with the ride. we left after that, but the only problem was that we were standing in this part where there was a speaker making water dripping sounds that was really loud. we couldnt even hear the announcement and we had to ask another person. we also went on a cruise, it was pretty fun, and for once i didnt get seasick (:
so my summer has been pretty good, though i did go to summer school, but it’s all good, at least i got to take another elective.
being the oldest class in the school definetly has it’s advantages and disadvantages. you get more freedom, but you are also a bigger role model.
it was very disorganized. after that, i had math class :/ very boring. and i have a test next week :S tonight i have orchestra practice and fellowship. in fellowship we’re going to plan games for tomorrow’s hallelujuah party. should be fun

I’m going to sleep in a room with 4 people or 6 people to a room. I hope I’m going to be with the people I wanted to be with, but according to my friend who knows the grade 8 well, we won’t know who we are going to bunk with until we get to the place.
